I tuned into steam fair FM last night, to listen to the preview broadcasts.
I can not wait until midnight on Sunday, when the live broadcast starts from the GDSF site.
Will anyone else be tuning in to listen?

Yes I will be listening to it most days. This year I hope to be able to be by a suitable radio at 6.30PM Sunday for the Martin Oliver interview.

I am listening to steam fair FM at the moment.
This is my last chance to hear it for this year. I never have the chance to listen during the show or while travelling.
All packed and ready to depart for GDSF after lunch. Hope to see you there Westons.

Hello folks BF and I didn't attend GDSF this year, but we were tuned in to Steam Fair FM every day listening to the goings-on onsite. Lovely to hear Squirrel doing his tractor pulling reports too. Thank god the organiser kept Steam Fair FM, it wouldn't be the same without it. Karen x

I had a brainwave as we left Wales on the Monday, and managed to connect the phone to the car radio, so were able to listen to it most of the way from Wales. In fact I was amazed at how good the data reception was, as we only lost it in a couple of places.
We had a couple of shouts on there, and listened to it most mornings before we headed out, at tea time where we entered the competition, and then again when we got back in the later evenings.
Both Suz and I thought the choice of music was not very good this year, it's not like they don't have a very wide choice with the years they cover. There was also too much repetition of the same tracks, one actually got played 2 times with just one record in between...
Love it being there, but I hope they improve the play list next year.

Hooray I'm back! Yep we listened to it starting up and then to it closing down on Tuesday on our way back from putting Morag back into her barn. Saw you Lazy Ferrets on (I think) Saturday, but may have been later in the week. You did look as though you didn't recognise me!
