Hi guys,
For those who still frequent these pages and may not see the posts on Facebook, unfortunately Mark Gass-Brown, known to all as Squirrel, passed away suddenly, but peacefully, on 29th January 2018.
Squirrel commentated on the tractor pulling at many events around the west of the country, including Dorset and Welland, where he managed to talk for hours in an informed way. He was also a contributor to Steam Fair FM, enthusing about his beloved tractor pulling. As well as being a MEBO he also ran a tractor pulling forum and was involved in trying to coordinate the scene throughout Europe. Squirrel was always keen to meet board members at the tractor pulling at Dorset even when he could not make the evening MEBO meets.
It was always a pleasure to meet with Mark at various rallies and catch up, and what a true gentlemen he was. This is a true shock to me, as I am sure it wil be to everyone that knew him. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Ohhh, no.... that is so sad... he only just retired...
I actually had the pleasure of working at the same company as Mark for a few years, and somehow, despite the horrible company, he was such a knowledgable person in all things his put his mind to, but somehow always remained down to earth, and one of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet.
Like you, I am truly shocked. Rest in peace Mark.
