Hi all I have just found out that there will not be an auto jumble at the GDSF this year and after phoning the office to ask why I was told that the space was needed and when I asked if it will be back next year I was told that it would be reviewed I know that there are are a lot of other attractions to see but I have been every year for the last twenty years and I find myself spending half of each day wandering around the stalls is it just me or does anyone else feel that the auto jumble is an important integral part of the show with people coming from all over Europe to find that illusive part If any other people feel the same please respond and give your thoughts Thanks Danny

I take it that by "Auto Jumble" they mean the weird bit at the top of the hill behind the hedge?
To be honest, I really do not understand how that is called "Auto Jumble", as there is only one or two stalls with anything remotely automotive on them anyway. Not only that, it's verging on anarchy up there, and gets worse each year. Last year there were kids setting up ramps in the walk ways and continually jumping over them on bikes and electric scooters, it got to the point you did not dare look at the stalls as you needed to keep an eye on not being hit by them.
As long as the main trade area is still there, with the all the "junk" stalls near the top of the hill, I would not miss the so called "Auto-Jumble", and there is plenty of room for any of them who want to still sell, to move down into the trade area, as that has been getting smaller each year.
